ABOUT

Price honesty for synth people

PatchPrice tracks prices for synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, and modular gear. Every price lands in a permanent history, so when a seller says “sale,” you can see whether it actually is one — we rank deals by how far a price sits below its own 90-day average, not by whatever the list price claims.

We're in beta. Every price on the site is a real one. New and used figures alike come from live Reverb and eBay listings, refreshed every six hours — new prices from listings offered as brand new, used-market ranges from used and refurbished ones. Nothing here is simulated or placeholder data. Direct retailer feeds are added as our partner applications are approved.

Set a drop alert on any product and we'll email you the moment a retailer crosses your target — or subscribe to Patch Notes for the five best deals each week. Alerts can watch either the new price or the used-market low, whichever you care about. Used prices do not affect the biggest-drops ranking, which is measured purely against a product's own 90-day new-price average.

How we make money

When you click through to a retailer and buy something, PatchPrice may earn an affiliate commission. That's the whole business model: no display ads, no selling your email, no paid placement. Commissions never affect the price you pay, which deals we show, or how they rank — the math is the same 90-day-average comparison for every product, every retailer.
