Privacy Policy

Email address — only if you set a price-drop alert or subscribe to our weekly digest. That is the only personal information the site asks for. We store it with the alert or subscription you created, along with confirmation and unsubscribe timestamps.

Standard server logs — like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) records basic request information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use it to identify you.

A theme preference — your dark/light mode choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.

We don't sell or rent your email address. We don't run third-party advertising or ad-tracking cookies. We don't build marketing profiles. We only email you the things you explicitly signed up for: alert confirmations, the price alerts themselves, and the weekly digest if you subscribed.

When you click through to a retailer or marketplace (for example Sweetwater, Reverb, or eBay), that site may know you came from PatchPrice, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Those sites have their own privacy policies that govern what they collect once you're there. Affiliate tracking never changes the price you pay.

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and Resend (transactional email). Your email address is shared with them only as needed to deliver the emails you asked for.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. If you want your email address deleted entirely, write to hello@coastcreative.studio and we'll remove it promptly.

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions are always welcome at the address above.
