SAMPLER · USED MARKET ONLY
The Ensoniq Mirage is an 8-bit digital sampling instrument introduced in the mid-1980s by Ensoniq, a company based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and produced in both keyboard and rack-mount versions. It provides eight-voice polyphony and MIDI, and routes its sample playback through analogue low-pass filters. Its operating system and sound banks load from 3.5-inch floppy disks, and sampling and editing parameters are set through a two-character LED display with numeric entry.
