Polysix

The Korg Polysix is a six-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer introduced in 1981. Each voice provides one oscillator with a sub-oscillator, a resonant low-pass filter and an ADSR envelope, while a single modulation generator, an arpeggiator and an effects section with chorus, phase and ensemble settings serve the whole instrument. Its 32 programs are held in memory backed by a rechargeable battery on the programmer/key-assigner board and can be transferred to cassette tape; the hardware is no longer in production.
