SYNTHESIZER · USED MARKET ONLY
The Juno-6 is a six-voice analogue polyphonic synthesiser that Roland introduced in 1982. Each voice is built around a single digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) feeding a resonant low-pass filter, and the instrument includes a built-in chorus effect and an arpeggiator. It has no patch memory, unlike the Juno-60 that followed it, so sounds are set up directly on the front-panel controls; it is commonly used for pads, string-like textures and basslines.
