SYNTHESIZER · USED MARKET ONLY
The Juno-60 is a six-voice analogue polyphonic synthesizer that Roland produced in the early 1980s, with one digitally controlled oscillator per voice feeding an analogue resonant low-pass filter. It added patch memory and a DCB interface to the earlier Juno-6 design, and it carries the built-in chorus circuit that accounts for much of the Juno series' characteristic sound. It is generally used for pads, string-like textures and bass, and it appears across 1980s synth-pop as well as later house and techno production.
