Jupiter-6

The Roland Jupiter-6 is a six-voice analogue polyphonic synthesizer released in 1983, built around two oscillators per voice and a multimode filter switchable between low-pass, high-pass and band-pass responses. It has a 61-note keyboard that can be split so that two different patches play at once, an arpeggiator, and it was among the first synthesizers to ship with MIDI. Its sound is characteristic of early-1980s analogue polysynths, and it is generally used for pad, brass and lead parts.
